1. The first US-made ESS battery pack has been produced in California by Gotion High-Tech, a China-headquartered lithium-ion battery maker.
2. China-based integrator and manufacturer CL Energy Storage Corporation (CLOU) won an order of 480MWh BESS from Stella, a Texas-based developer.
3. A consortium including Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and EDF has won bid for three BESS projects in South Africa, for a total of more than 1GW.
