  1. Greece has launched the first auction for standalone energy storage systems for a total capacity of 400 MW.
  2. The European Commission has approved a 1.1 billion euros scheme to support energy storage in Hungary.
  3. RWE has commissioned a 137 MW/548 MWh storage system in California.
  4. Alcemi has received approval for a 500 MW/1000 MWh energy storage facility in Scotland.
  5. Neoen is planning to build a 219 MW/877 MWh energy storage project in Australia.
